Jerwood Space   shortlisted in Best Refurbishment, Public and Innovation categories

WWM Jerwood Space

Witherford Watson Mann’s refurbishment of Jerwood Space is shortlisted for its exemplary use of Ketley Brown Antique bricks, specially developed for this project using a low‑reduction firing for deeper, more natural tonal variation.  The bricks were chosen for their rich, pinky red and purple tones which were compatible with the Victorian fabric of these high quality rehearsal studios. The project enhances circulation, accessibility and public presence while delivering finely crafted brickwork that bridges past and present. It's restrained, context‑driven approach demonstrates how thoughtful material selection and precise detailing can elevate a cultural building’s identity and long‑term resilience.   See Case Study>>
