"Daykin Marshall Studio specified Ketley Quarry Tiles in the restoration of Old Four Row for their history, robustness and warm colour tone. The cottage was originally designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and they feel like something the famous Arts & Crafts architect might have chosen. They are laid in a herringbone pattern, like a fine parquet, over a thin underfloor heating system. The ‘brown brindle’ finish complements the oak structure and furniture of the ’timber hall’ extension. It's nice to make something with materials that should still be there in another 150 years!
